Universal Oneness

Drawing inspiration from her poem, ‘Travelling by Thought,’ this painting embarks on a mystical odyssey to a utopic spiritual realm, Nyikadzimu. Uniting a man and a woman in a transcendent shade of black, symbolising racelessness, it evokes the essence of oneness and elevated consciousness. The central eye signifies unity and enlightenment, reserved for those who have shed the ‘veil of ignorance’ to embrace the equality of humankind. Surrounding them, twelve intricate swirls in varied patterns depict dimensions beyond our earthly presence, inviting contemplation on the unseen realms.
