Paintings that are heavily inspired by my poetry, womanhood, nature and spirituality.
Palindrome is a textured abstract landscape that explores duality and introspection. This versatile piece, which could be hung either way, depicts a golden sunset nestled in a sky of blue and purple hues, where the day’s final light shimmers. Below, layers of red and turquoise create a sense of movement and depth, blurring the line between hope and sorrow. The golden light marks the edge of sunshine where shadows dissolve, symbolising moments of transition and balance. Palindrome speaks to the beauty found in contrasts and the ways in which light and darkness coexist in harmony.
